Hey guys! I am so excited to share today's post with you! Bathtime has never been easy at our house and I was determined to find items that would make our daughter's experience more enjoyable. Somewhere along the way she started to become afraid of the water and these are some of the products that I have found that have made everything easier and made her actually excited to get into the tub! I love shopping for all her bath essentials and toys at Target and Amazon. I hope you find this post helpful and that it might help your little one enjoy bathtime.
Essentials
Avery immediately loved this when she first saw it! I think she was really drawn to it because of the fact that it is a whale. She also really likes standing on it when I dry her off when it is time to get out of the tub. Not to mention it makes my experience more enjoyable because I can kneel on it while she is playing and I am giving her a bath.

This elbow rest goes along with the gray whale kneeler. This is so nice to have during bathtime for both you and your little one! I love that it cushioned and provides a nice place for me to rest my elbow, but also is great for Avery as well! She likes to use it to stick some of her favorite toys on it and is a good place for her to hold on to to keep her balance.

This was a game changer! Avery doesn't like getting water in her eyes while I am rinsing off her hair and it caused a lot of tears. This rinser does such a good job of molding to your little ones head while allowing you the ability to control how much water pours out! Cannot recommend this product enough!!

We were using Aveeno as our shampoo before and didn't have good luck with it so I decided to try this one. It is so nice because it has a very calming smell that Avery seems to enjoy, but also allows you to add bubbles to running water while making a bath! I think it is one of the biggest products that changed bathtime for us! Avery just loves the bubbles it makes and gets so excited to play in them! She now runs to me saying "bubbles" so I would say this product is a WIN!

I also started to discover that Avery liked her bath temperature to be a certain temperature so this little duck helped a lot. It helps with gauging when the tub water is too hot and will actually indicate it for you by revealing the word HOT located on the bottom side of the duck. Plus it floats and makes a great bath toy!

Toys
This toy boat is just a classic and makes for fun scoop-and-pour play! It can also be used as a rinsing too! I love that it is very easy to clean by separating it into two pieces and throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher. Bonus it also makes a great toy for the pool!

Avery LOVES this little set! She is very into pretending to put on makeup so I knew she would love this! It is so nice because it has little compartments for where you can store the comb and lipstick. It has a suction cup on the back so you can easily stick in to your tile and then remove it whenever they grow out of it. She also really enjoys looking at herself in the mermaid mirror while applying the lipstick!

These bath squirts are by far her FAVORITE bath toy! She always rummages through all her toys to try to find these when she first gets in the bath. She is a big fan of Minnie Mouse so this set is perfect, plus it is really cute if you fill the bath with bubbles and then put these toys in!

I actually got this as a gift from my mother in law and it is such a fun toy! I love how interactive it is with your toddler! You can play pretend finding the fish and reeling them in! Avery always thinks it is so funny when we finally catch the fish!! It is magnetic so it is very easy for them to use as well! Such a great toy!

This toy we have had for awhile and it is just so classic. You can wind up the little arms and the penguin will swim. Avery loves to try to catch it! It has become on of our favorite games to play together.

Okay so there you have it! Those are all of my bath must haves that I recommend for anyone that might have a toddler that is skeptical or scared of bathtime. They may seem simple, but they really worked to make the entire experience something she now looks forward too, which I think is key. I hope you found this helpful and it helps your little one. Thanks so much for reading!
